Russian spy suspect Anna Chapman’s dad was an ex-KGB officer
Spy suspect Anna Chapman could have worked as a Russian secret agent while living in London, her British ex-husband claims.
Alex Chapman, 30, told last night how she admitted to him her ex-KGB father Vasily Kushchenko was a “high-ranking” officer in the country’s security forces.

On Wednesday MI5 officials visited Mr Chapman at his home as part of the global investigation into the alleged spy network.
Mr Chapman married flame-haired Anna in Moscow in 2002, five months after they met at a party in London. They divorced in 2006. He said: “She said her father had been high up in the ranks of the KGB. She said he was an agent in ‘old Russia’.
